What is Igniting Firebrands all about?

Let’s start with gaining insight into what a firebrand is.

A firebrand is one who creates unrest or one who aggressively promotes a cause.

It is also a poker used to stir up fire or spread fire from one place to another.

In Hebrew, it is the word môqēḏ, translated as …

·       Fire or fuel

·       Conflagration – an extensive fire that destroys a great deal of land

·       Hearth or fireplace

The root word is yāqaḏ, translating as…

·       To be kindled

·       To be set on fire

Kingdom Firebrands are those who burn with holy fire. They stir up the fire of God in the lives of others and spread His fire everywhere they go. They are a voice of reformation and revival. They disrupt the plans of hell and set the enemy running. They are fueled by truth and justice, refusing to compromise or fold under the world's pressure. They are culture changers, not conformed to culture. They are radical reformists who hate what God hates and love what God loves. They do not tolerate sin; therefore, they live on their knees, surrendered to God, allowing His fire to burn continuously. They are peacemakers, not peacekeepers. They reconcile the lost back to our Father. They are aggressively advancing the kingdom of God on this earth.

Kingdom Firebrands walk in the fear of the Lord at all times.

Kingdom Firebrands are disrupters of principalities and powers that attempt to rule over territories. They go in, just like Elijah, and call the fire of God down to burn away the false and expose the Truth.

Kingdom Firebrands are those who carry the anointing of Elijah, and God is calling them out of the cave and saying, “It’s time to go and face the enemy!”

Igniting Firebrands is a community currently being built to train and equip you to discover and activate your God-given gifts, with a focus on those who carry and flow in the prophetic gift. This community will gather around the table every 2 weeks for spiritual growth, training, equipping, and activation. The main focus will be on building kingdom character, which is undeveloped in the church of today. We will also grow in understanding of our identity in Christ, the 7-mountain mandate, and how to be culture changers, our God-given authority, and the fear of the Lord, which is the foundation of our walk. We will be a people who walk in and uncap the wells of God’s glory.

Firebrands will be a community that is 100% intentional with their walk with God.

  • We will look different.

  • We will sound different.

  • We will worship different.

  • We are not your typical “church’ gathering.

NOTE: This is not a community for everyone. God has asked me to raise up those who are truly serious about their walk with Him. So please know, if you are just looking for a place to gather for fun and fellowship, this is not for you. I encourage you to find a life-group within your church family if that is your desire.
