The Fight Is On!

This last weekend, I had an encounter that was a massive wake-up call. I’ve not been able to stop thinking about it, or those involved, because my heart was broken and absolutely enraged at the same time. I was awakened to the all-out demonic assault on the younger generation.

My Sunday started like any other week, yet there was an expectation stirring in my spirit. I knew God was about to do something huge, and He did. I do not want to share too much detail, but let me just say, He is still in the deliverance ministry for those of you who may be wondering! After a powerful deliverance moment at our local home church gathering, I received a call from the one delivered. I was asked to come to their friend's home because the friend had also been dabbling in witchcraft and wanted to be prayed for.

I called my prayer partner up and said, “I need you to go somewhere with me.” Crazy girl agreed before I even told her where!

We arrive at their home to discover that this is deeper than I had imagined. I was thinking a group of kids (16-17-year-olds) playing with some things they had no clue about. But what I learned is that a few of these kids had been fully schooled in Wiccan Worship by another older teen who claims to be an atheist. I had the absolute privilege of sitting with these kids and talking about the dangers of witchcraft and playing with the devil, which they already knew because they were having very real demonic experiences. These kids had altars built in their rooms, crystals of ‘power’ on the altars, posters of gods/goddesses on their walls. They explained to me how they could lie in bed and hear knocking on the altars at night as the enemy was taunting them. One was having experiences where the older teen who had taught them these prayers and this way of worship was astral projecting into her room at night, watching her. Very real stuff, very demonic. Once a person with no godly leadership in their life is sucked in, they become imprisoned, lost, depressed, suicidal, and very fearful. I praise God today that these two young kids had 3 best friends who said, “I’m taking you to a church.” Because of the faith of these 3 friends, 2 teens found freedom from bondage, were delivered from the spirit of witchcraft, and accepted Jesus as their savior.

True deliverance is always such a beautiful thing. The person's whole face changes, their eyes are clear, their smile is brighter, and their skin tone even brightens. That’s true deliverance.

Now, that is the encounter I had that awakened a righteous anger in me. Over the last year, I have heard report after report of young kids under the age of 24 being killed either through car accidents, suicide, or by being shot. This has enraged me, because I knew it was a war against this generation. Then, when I saw how the devil himself has preyed upon the vulnerable in our local school system, I was undone.

I say… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

One thing I do know is that these two young teens that I ministered to on Sunday do not have parents involved in their lives. They are pretty much raising themselves, which makes them even more of a target. Lonely, lost, no guidance, easily influenced when promised love and acceptance.

CHURCH, WE MUST DO BETTER!! The world is offering a false, counterfeit love and acceptance that’s leading our kids into torment and bondage.

WE MUST DO BETTER!

PARENTS, DO BETTER!! Monitor your kids' friends, make sure they are followers of Jesus. Monitor their phones, what they are learning from social media. One of these teens I prayed with had fully studied all things Wicca before stepping into it.  This person knows who Jesus is, but without the right accountability, they were easily influenced by something that seemed more powerful and deeply spiritual.

I am currently in the middle of preparing an extensive teaching on the main gates that open us up to demonic bondage. But in the meantime, let’s take a look at a few things that we need to remove from our lives COMPLETELY.

When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you… We are no longer looking for a promised land, we are now being drawn to salvation through the promised Man – Jesus Christ. So, when you come into the salvation the Lord your God has given you…

YOU SHALL NOT FOLLOW THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE OTHER NATIONS – the unsaved – the world – those who do not follow Jesus!

There shall not be found among you…

The Pagan practice of sacrificing your children in order to seek about the future or seek favor from other gods.

Anyone who uses divination –

Anyone who practices witchcraft – magic, sorcery, hidden arts. Today, this is called:

·       Wicca – neo-pagan with strong emphasis on nature, gods/goddesses, divine polarity…

·       Eclectic Witchcraft – draws from multiple systems (Wicca, folk magic, ASTROLOGY, shamanism, herbal lore, etc.)

·       Folk Magic – Hoodoo or Rootwork

o   Hoodoo – African-American – uses herbs, charms, candle work, and spiritual protection in everyday magic.

·       One who interprets omens – omens are whispered spells and enchantments

·       Sorcery

These things are an abomination to God!

Galatians 5:19‑21 — “acts of the flesh” include sorcery.

Isaiah 8:19 — God’s people are instructed not to consult mediums or the dead.

Discernment has become so scarce, and deception has become so normal that wrong has become right and right has become wrong. This has made accountability become judgment. Teaching the solid truth has become offensive. Parents have become soft and don’t want to ‘hurt’ their kids' feelings by PROTECTING THEIR SPIRITS AND SOULS!  Come on!!

Many church leaders are so focused on keeping their seats filled that they don’t want to offend anyone by holding them accountable. They would rather have a building full of lost individuals who know of Jesus, than free individuals who KNOW Jesus. They allow people into leadership who are actively, privately playing with the devil. Why? Because it’s easier to not know than to know. Also, they don’t want to teach the hard things, OR THEY ARE JUST AS BOUND! I know leaders of churches who play games with the devil. They ride the fence, and if they start teaching the truth, then they have to give it up themselves, or live in hypocrisy. So, shhhhh… just stay silent.

ENOUGH! Our children are paying the price!

The Word is clear that we are to KNOW those who labor among us. I am one who, if you serve on my leadership team, you have no secrets! I will hold you accountable for the smallest of inaccurate posts you make on social media. I don’t play with the devil or my walk with Jesus! Just ask my team!

I am done beating around the bush when it comes to the devil destroying lives!

We either start being the PURE and SPOTLESS Bride of Christ or go ahead and build your own altars for your personal agendas and walk away. It is time to make a choice!

As I was studying on witchcraft this morning, I put together a list of things to look for in the lives of those who are leading you or those you love … If you see these things – CALL THEM OUT! If they get offended, find a new leader! If it’s your family, let them get offended, at least they will know the truth. That’s all I can say. Parents, if you are allowing your kids to be influenced by these things – I promise you, they may be young, but they are being groomed, just like all the homosexuality added to kids' shows today… WAKE UP! You will be held accountable for how you guided your arrows (children) from God Himself!

As we look at things Christ followers should avoid, we must remember Paul’s words:

1 Corinthians 10:23 — “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful or edifying.

When we are walking a life of KNOWING Jesus, we can easily grieve Holy Spirit by what we participate in because they are not good for our soul. Here are a few warnings –

Our eyes and ears are gates the enemy uses to enter our soul. This can be fear, witchcraft, negative influences, sexual perversion, etc.

Any demonic movie involving demons, movies full of perversion (sexual, verbal, etc), etc. There have been people possessed during movies… just remember that!

I’m going to challenge you, Christ Followers! If you truly are a Christ follower, then the days of playing on the fence are over. You’re either in, or you’re out. He doesn’t tolerate lukewarm people.

2 Corinthians 6:14–17 (NKJV)

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?
And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial?
Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
